Best Used Digital Mixing Consoles for Corporate AV and Conference Rooms

Digital desks for boardrooms, conference centres and multi-room AV, where scene recall and a short learning curve matter more than channel count. Vi-series sound and layout at a fraction of the new price; confirm the stagebox and licence dongles come with it.

Best for: Theatre, broadcast and larger live work where Vi-series workflow and sound are wanted at a used price.

Watch out for: The stagebox and licence dongles are usually separated from the console in trade-ins; a Vi1 without them loses most of its value.

Best for: Small conference rooms and huddle spaces needing a few mic and line sources into a stereo output.

How we rank

Each unit in this list is photographed as it stands and bench-tested before it goes on the page. The order is set by our inventory team on parts availability, service history and how the model holds up in rental use — never by sponsorship or paid placement. We do not publish sales totals we cannot verify.

What to check before you buy

  • Ask for photos and a video of the exact serial number you will receive, not a stock picture.
  • Confirm amplifier, DSP presets and rigging hardware are included — they are the most expensive parts to source later.
  • Check driver surrounds for foam rot and ask whether any driver has been re-coned.
  • Match voltage and mains plug to your country before shipping; 110 V and 230 V versions are not interchangeable.
  • Budget for freight, duty and a service check on arrival — used gear is priced FOB, not delivered.

Buyer questions

Are the units in this ranking actually tested?

Yes. Each unit is powered up, run through its inputs and outputs and checked for noise, fan condition and channel balance in our warehouse. The test result is recorded against the serial number; ask us for it before you pay.

What condition grade do these units carry?

Grades are shown per unit: A means 90% or better cosmetic condition with no functional faults, B means visible wear but full function. The grade in the table is the grade of the actual cabinet you will receive.

Can you supply several units of the same model?

Often yes. Quantities change weekly because stock comes from trade-ins and rental fleet rotation. Tell us the model and quantity and we will confirm what is on the floor today.

How is used gear shipped and what if something arrives faulty?

We ship FOB port of loading by sea or air, crated or palletised for export. Every lot carries a 90-day test warranty: if a fault covered by the test report appears, we ship the replacement part or arrange a repair credit.
