Nightclub and bar PA system for dance floors and live stages
A single rig that does both jobs: line arrays or full-range tops for the dance floor, ground-stacked subwoofers for the low end, and a DSP that keeps the room inside its limits night after night.
For a 120–300 m² dance floor we plan 8× NEXO GEOS LD12 array boxes (Grade A) flown four per side, 4× Funktion One 21SW152-8 subs coupled on the floor and two Adamson PLM 20K44 four-channel DSP amplifiers. The 21-inch subs are rated 136 dB peak from 30–120 Hz; every unit is powered up and bench-tested in our warehouse before it ships.
A club system has to do two jobs in the same room: drive a dance floor at 2 a.m. and stay clean enough for a live band at 9 p.m. Design for the quieter job first and keep headroom for the louder one.
Flown or bracket-mounted tops cover the floor evenly and keep the sound off the walls. Two or three boxes per side, angled down towards the crowd, will out-perform a bigger stack aimed straight ahead.
Put the subwoofers together on the floor, in one block or in a corner. Coupled low end gives far more output for the same amplifier power, and a corner placement adds boundary gain that no EQ can imitate.
Lock the system down with DSP: load the manufacturer preset for the exact cabinets, set the limiters so a guest DJ cannot cook the drivers, and leave a labelled spare amplifier and cable set in the rack.
Installer pain points and how we solve them
The three problems that come up most often in this kind of room — and the specific way we plan around each one.
What goes wrong in the roomHow we plan around it
The bass thins out once the dance floor fills up.
Couple four 21-inch subs in one block instead of spreading them along the wall. Coupling adds output no amplifier can supply on its own, and the 21SW152-8 is rated 2000 W AES with 136 dB peak down to 30 Hz.
Vocal mics on the stage feed back into the DJ booth and the bar.
Fly the arrays angled down into the crowd instead of across the stage, and gate plus limit the vocal channel in DSP. We ship the PLM 20K44 with the preset file already loaded and a printed channel list.
Amps and the console arrive damaged after sea freight, or with parts missing.
Amplifiers ship assembled in one flight-cased rack with a packing list and photos of the exact serial numbers. Cabinets are crated with corner protection and the rigging hardware bolted on, not loose in a bag.
Configuration by room size

≤ 120 m²
Small bar room
2 full-range tops on stands, 1x 18-inch sub, a 4-channel amp and a compact DSP.
2111
Why this count
Two 15-inch tops at 124 dB peak on stands cover a 90° × 60° pattern over a room this size with no delay ring needed; 2000 W of amplifier is already headroom for one 18-inch sub.
6 to 8 line array boxes per side, 4x 18-inch subs, two amps with club presets.
842
Why this count
Eight array boxes at four per side hold their pattern off the walls, and four coupled subs reach 136 dB peak at 30 Hz — the level a commercial dance floor is mixed at.
12 line array boxes per side, 6 to 8x 21-inch subs, networked amps and per-zone DSP limiters.
12831
Why this count
Twelve boxes per side with 6–8 subs gives the headroom for a live band on the same stage; networked amps and per-zone limiters keep the floor and the bar at different levels without touching the house setting.
For a 200 m² dance floor we plan 6–8 array boxes (3–4 per side) with 4 coupled 18- to 21-inch subs and one four-channel DSP amplifier per four boxes. That puts roughly 135 dB peak at the front of the floor with enough headroom left for a live band.
Do the amplifiers come with the right DSP presets?
Yes. Our amplifiers ship with the manufacturer preset for the exact cabinet loaded and locked, plus a printed channel list. If you buy amp and cabinet together we run the pair on the bench before dispatch.
Can you ship a complete club system as one shipment?
Yes. Racks stay assembled inside flight cases and cabinets are crated with the rigging hardware attached. We quote FOB port of loading and can arrange LCL consolidation for a partial container.
